dirac equation 真不簡單
雖然現在教科書top down寫法 可以從irreducible representation of lorentz group 出發 然後考慮spin-1/2 massive rep
然後寫下這方程式 然後自動就有lorentz covariant
但1928 dirac就寫出來了 假設我知道schrodinger equation 是時間一次微分 但我又知道schrodinger 跟special relativty 又不合
我只能從klein equation 出發 然後強行開方 但是數字又不能開方 不能反對稱變成clifford algebra
只好把他想辦法寫成矩陣 然後一定要4*4 湊湊弄弄出來
Weyl 把dirac equation 再化簡 成 weyl equation by removing m=0
發現他有兩個degree of freedom 分別是 兩個su(2) 再lorentz irrepresenation
數學工具越來越powerful 很多東西看起來超有邏輯 但當時的人工具沒有這麼多 猜來猜去 這些"直覺" 太不簡單 或許可被視為是一種真physics
